ABOM AR was the first augmented reality system with a Ballistics rated (MIL-PRF 32432A) lens. ABOM was challenging elements of the US ARMY’s IVAS specification (HUD 3.0) as an alternative to Hololens. It's a ruggedized augmented reality headset with active anti-fog. Sensors include a camera, thermal camera, Intel Realsense, and advanced GPS/IMU. I designed different aspects of the sub-structure, PCBs, along with part design, DFM/A, and sourcing.
