Daqri Smart Glasses





The DAQRI Smart Glasses were the most compact and lightweight AR glasses at the time. I was 1 of 2 design engineers on the project and we released to tooling in 3 months. I designed the expansion arm mechanism, expanded thermal dissipation in the back, and worked on basically everything else on the headset. I traveled to China for injection and die-cast molded part bring-up.

One big challenge was having the smart glasses fit all head sizes. They fit on Shaq's head, mission accomplished!
